I am interested in finding out about the benefits of personal branding and the investments. I trust that there is immediate pay off that is intrinsic in nature but is the pecuniary payoff soon or over a long period, on average?

    Hi Ms Barrow

My name is Densie Young-Kumar, I am currently pursuing the Masters in HRM at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and I am employed as a Human Resource Officer I at the NCRHA. I thank you for your insight, reshaping the way we view ourselves as Hr Practioners would indeed change the way management view Human Resource Management. I am of the opinion that your insight on ‘Personal Branding’ for the Hr practioner can create an impact to move Hr from the personnel level to the Board Room. From your discussion with Mr Wade I was gratefull for these nuggets:

    1. ” you get paid for your skills not for your bills”
    2. “look at how you are currently perceived and how you want to be perceived”
    3. One must have a strong sense of who they are what you stand for (which is characterized in the values you hold as a person, cause it is these values as a person who speak about who you are)
    4. Seeing yourself as a problem-solver in an efficient and effective manner
5.”demonstrated ability to my complexity” (multi-tasking)

    Best Regards

    Denise Young-Kumar
